Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance, and am considered an out-of-network provider. This means I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for some reimbursement. I can explain this process during a consultation or our first session together.
What times do you generally see clients?
I see clients Monday through Thursdays from 10 am to 6 pm. I also have a few evening slots available for those who need them.
How much do you charge?
Sessions with me are $170 each and can be paid with debit or credit card through the portal of my electronic health record system, SimplePractice.
Do you offer premarital counseling?
Yes! I have helped create several marriage preparation courses and am very passionate about this topic!
What does it mean that you have a supervisor?
Having a supervisor means that I meet with someone on a weekly basis to discuss the clients I am seeing to help ensure they are receiving quality care. My supervisor, Ashley, is bound to the same limits of confidentiality I am and offers great perspective! (Read more about Ashley here).
What is your cancellation policy?
Clients who cancel a session with less than 24 hours in advance are charged a $100 fee. Clients who are more than 10 minutes late or fail to show up are charged the full $170 fee. Each client has one “free pass” per calendar year where a late cancellation or no-show fee is waived.
Do you charge for court appearances?
Yes. Details of these charges can be discussed in a consultation call and will also be included in the intake paperwork.
Are you willing to participate in custody evaluations or family decisions?
I will not participate in custody evaluations or family decisions.
Do you see clients virtually or in-person?
Both! I have an office space located in Towson near St Joseph’s Medical Center, but also see several clients (including younger ones) virtually.
Do you offer sliding scale spots?
I do have a few sliding scale spots for those with financial need. They are not always available, but if you reach out and they are full, I am happy to put you on my waitlist or connect you with someone who does have spots available.
